We are pleased to report that thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, the Trust has recently surpassed one million dollars in funds contributed towards subsidized veterinary care at BC SPCA facilities.
With Veterinarian shortages continuing to plague the province, the cost and access to veterinary care remains a critical issue for animal welfare in British Columbia. The BC SPCA notes that it “is grateful for the continued support of the SPCA Vancouver Hospital Trust. Without them, countless animals would have suffered needlessly. Instead, these animals will live happy and healthy lives.”

The Trust was represented at both the Vancouver and Coquitlam walks. The Vancouver walk was very well attended, although the rain may have kept a few folks away. The new location at David Lam Park was beautiful! The Coquitlam Lafarge Lake walk was also well attended and lucky for them the rain held off until most of the events were complete
